This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our services. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit.

2.1 Hosting

www.beckaya.com uses the platform Shopify Inc. ("Shopify") as a store system. When you place an order in our store, you agree to the storage and processing of your personal data by Shopify. For this purpose, your personal data will be transferred to the Shopify data center in the United States and processed. This storage and processing of data is for the purposes of supporting and processing your orders, authenticating you, processing payments, and improving Shopify's services. For more information about Shopify's terms of use and privacy policy, please visit http://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

2.1 Content Delivery Network

For the purpose of a shorter loading time, Shopify uses a so-called Content Delivery Network ("CDN") for some offers. With this service, content, e.g. large media files, are delivered via regionally distributed servers.

For more information about Shopify's terms of use and privacy policy, please visit http://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

3. Data processing for contract processing, contacting and opening a customer account

We collect personal data if you provide it voluntarily in the context of your order or when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data to process the contract, or to process your contact and can not send you the order or contact without their information. Which data is collected, can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide for contract processing and processing your requests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Insofar as you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO by deciding to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account. Further information on the processing of your data, in particular on the transfer to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment and shipping processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to team@beckaya.com or via a designated function in the customer account.

4. Data processing for the purpose of shipping process

For the fulfillment of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.

5. Data processing for payment transactions

When processing payments in our online store, we work with these partners: technical service providers, credit institutions, payment service providers.

For questions about our payment processing partners and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact team@beckaya.com.

5.1 Data processing for transaction processing

Depending on the selected payment method, we pass on the data necessary for processing the payment transaction to our technical service providers, who work for us as part of order processing, or to the commissioned credit institutions or to the selected payment service provider, insofar as this is necessary for processing the payment. This serves the fulfillment of the contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO. In some cases, the payment service providers collect the data required for processing the payment themselves, e.g. on their own website or via a technical integration in the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

5.2 Data processing for the purpose of fraud prevention and optimization of our payment processes

If necessary, we provide our service providers with further data, which they use together with the data necessary for processing the payment as our order processors for the purpose of fraud prevention and optimization of our payment processes (e.g. invoicing, processing of contested payments, accounting support). Pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in our protection against fraud or in efficient payment management, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests.

5.3 What data is stored

The data that is processed depends, of course, on the respective payment provider. But basically, data such as name, address, bank data (account number, credit card number, passwords, TANs, etc.) are stored. These are necessary data to be able to carry out a transaction at all. In addition, any contract data and user data, such as when you visit our website, what content you are interested in or which subpages you click on, may also be stored. Your IP address and information about the computer you are using are also stored by most payment providers.

The data is usually stored and processed on the servers of the payment providers. We as the website operator do not receive this data. We are only informed whether the payment has worked or not. For identity and credit checks, it may happen that payment providers forward data to the appropriate body. For all payment transactions, the business and data protection principles of the respective provider always apply. Therefore, please always check the general terms and conditions and the privacy policy of the payment provider. You also have the right to have data deleted or corrected at any time. Please contact the respective service provider regarding your rights (right of revocation, right to information and right to be affected).

Information on the specific payment providers - if available - can be found in the following sections.

5.4.11 Klarna Pay Now Privacy Policy

We offer on our website the payment method "Sofortüberweisung" of the company Sofort GmbH for cashless payment. Sofort GmbH has been part of the Swedish company Klarna since 2014, but has its headquarters in Germany, Theresienhöhe 12, 80339 Munich.

If you decide to use this payment method, personal data will be transmitted to Sofort GmbH or Klarna, respectively, stored and processed there. With this data protection text we give you an overview of the data processing by Sofort GmbH.

What is "Sofortüberweisung"?

Sofortüberweisung is an online payment system that allows you to place an order via online banking. In this case, the payment processing is carried out by Sofort GmbH and we immediately receive information about the payment made. This method can be used by any user who has an active online banking account with PIN and TAN. Only a few banks do not support this payment method yet.

Why do we use "Sofortüberweisung" on our website?

Our goal with our website and our integrated online store is to provide you with the best possible service. This includes not only the overall experience on the website and in addition to our offers, but also a smooth, fast and secure payment processing of your orders. To ensure this, we use "Sofortüberweisung" as a payment system.

What data is stored by "Sofortüberweisung"?

When you make a Sofortüberweisung via the Sofort/Klarna service, data such as name, account number, bank code, subject, amount and date are stored on the company's servers. We also receive this information via the payment confirmation.

As part of the account coverage check, Sofort GmbH checks whether your account balance and overdraft facility cover the payment amount. In some cases, it is also checked whether instant transfers have been successfully carried out in the last 30 days. In addition, your user identification (such as signatory number or contract number) in abbreviated ("hashed") form and your IP address are collected and stored. For SEPA transfers, BIC and IBAN are also stored.

According to the company, no other personal data (such as account balances, turnover data, drawing limits, account lists, cell phone number, authentication certificates, security codes or PIN/TAN) is collected, stored or passed on to third parties.

Sofortüberweisung also uses cookies to make its own service more user-friendly. When you order a product, you will be redirected to the Sofort or Klarna website. After successful payment you will be redirected to our thank you page. Here the following three cookies are set:

Data: GA1.2.69759879.1589470706

Expiration date: after 2 years

Note: The cookies listed here do not claim to be complete. It can always be that Sofortüberweisung also uses other cookies.

How long and where is the data stored?

All collected data is stored within the legal obligation to keep records. This obligation can last between three and ten years.

Klarna/Sofort GmbH tries to store data only within the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA). If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the data protection must comply with the GDPR and the country must be in an adequacy decision of the EU.

How can I delete my data or prevent data storage?

You can revoke your consent for Klarna to process personal data at any time. You also always have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. To do so, you can simply contact the company's data protection team by emailing datenschutz@sofort.com.

However, sweepstakes and contests in which data is collected for advertising purposes will be clearly marked and consent to the use of data for advertising purposes must be given. If the data is not used for advertising purposes or if there is no consent, it will be deleted after the winner has been determined.

8. Cookies and other technologies

General information

In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies including so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

We use such technologies that are absolutely necessary for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g. shopping cart function). These technologies collect and process IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information about your use of our website (e.g. information about the contents of the shopping cart). In the context of a balancing of interests, this serves overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

In addition, we use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g. to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analysis and online marketing. You can find more information about this, including the respective legal basis for the data processing, in the following sections of this privacy policy.

You can find the cookie settings for your browser under the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™.

Insofar as you have consented to the use of the technologies pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to team@beckaya.com.

9. Use of cookies and other technologies for web analysis and advertising purposes

Insofar as you have given your consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of the respective technology by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can find more information about your revocation options in the section "Cookies and other technologies". Further information including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers can be found in the individual technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact team@beckaya.com.

9.1 Use of Google services

We use the technologies of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), as described below. The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and stored there. For the USA, there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission. Our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it will be shortened before being stored on Google's servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Google Analytics
For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address will not be merged with other Google data. The data processing is carried out on the basis of an order processing agreement by Google.

For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have activated the data release settings for "Google products and services". This allows Google to access the data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between responsible parties. We have no influence on the subsequent data processing by Google.

For the creation and execution of tests, we also use the Google Analytics Google Optimize extension function.

For web analysis, the Google Analytics Google Signals extension function enables so-called "cross-device tracking". Insofar as your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can create reports about your usage behavior (in particular, cross-device user numbers), even if you change your terminal device. We do not process personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics generated on the basis of Google Signals.

For web analysis and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension function, the so-called DoubleClick cookie, enables recognition of your browser when visiting other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.

Google Ads
For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing Cookie is set when you visit our website. This cookie automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. Additional data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent usage behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking if you have reached our website via an advertisement from Google Ads. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

Google reCAPTCHA
In order to protect against misuse of our web forms and spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information and information about your use of our website) and analyzes your use of our website using JavaScript and cookies. In addition, other cookies stored by Google services in your browser are evaluated. No personal data is read or stored from the input fields of the respective form.

YouTube Video Plugin
To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended data protection mode used by us, transmitted to Google and subsequently processed by Google only when you play a video.

9.2 Use of Facebook services

Use of Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") described below. The Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. In addition, as part of the so-called extended data matching, information is collected and stored hashed for matching purposes, with which individuals can be identified (e.g. names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers). To this end, when you visit our website, the Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie that uses a pseudonymous CookieID to recognize your browser when you visit other websites. Facebook will combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.

The information automatically collected by Facebook technologies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a server of Facebook, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA and stored there. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. Insofar as the transfer of data to the USA falls within our responsibility, our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. For more information about data processing by Facebook, please see Facebook's privacy policy.

Facebook Analytics
As part of Facebook Analytics, statistics on visitor activity on our website are created from the data collected with the Facebook Pixel about your use of our website. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an order processing agreement by Facebook. Their analysis is used for the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.

Facebook Ads
We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook as well as on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of the ads with individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 DSGVO. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of the data and its transmission to Facebook Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Facebook Ireland is not covered by this.

Based on the statistics on visitor activity on our website generated via Facebook Pixel, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook via Facebook Custom Audience by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. Within the scope of the extended data matching that takes place to determine the respective target group (see above), Facebook acts as our processor.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we conduct personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel remarketing.

Via Facebook Pixel Conversions, we measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analytics and event tracking when you have reached our website via an ad from Facebook Ads. The data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement on commissioned processing by Facebook.
